Cargility was selected as one of five Michigan startups for the Winter 2026 Michigan Founders Fund Pre-Accelerator powered by gener8tor.
The seven-week program supports underrepresented early-stage companies through mentorship, expert guidance, ecosystem access, and $15,000 in non-dilutive capital. Cargility was recognized as part of a cohort representing Michigan’s strength in mobility, assistive technology, climate innovation, immersive learning, advanced materials, and community-centered development.
The Ann Arbor SPARK feature describes Cargility as a patented, portable door-to-floor mobility assistive aid designed to stabilize vehicle entry and exit, reduce fall risk, and support greater independence for older adults, people in rehabilitation, and caregivers. It also notes that Cargility has an issued U.S. utility patent and was preparing for its first small production run and 2026 market launch.
